Day 12 / Three Day Update

My goodness life can move very fast! Especially when you are trying to cram as much as you possibly can into thirty-five short days. So here is a quick recap because sleep is something that should happen soon.

Day 10
We spent the day at an orphanage in Dai Loc. There were four year old twins that were too cute, two tiny puppies that Kelbin seems to think would make a good lunch, and the sweetest fourteen year old boy.

Day 11

Three of the racers, See Eun, Carrie, and Cori, and myself all rented motor scooters and Jillian took us up to Monkey Mountain with Anna Mea on the back of her bike. We only saw one monkey, and he moved too fast to photograph, but it was still AMAZING! We went to this fantastic beach where the water was nice and warm and then drove up the mountain with views of the ocean and the city to be seen the entire way. Also, just so you know, I LOVE driving a scooter!! Way too much fun.

Day 12

I do not have many photos of today, but it was also amazing! I am going to be so sad to leave this place!! I went to a Vietnamese church today, which was fantastic! I did not understand much at all, but it was great to be part of the global church and be surrounded by believers of a different background than my own. After that I helped with children's church at the international church, but I think help might be a generous term. I have never helped before and was a little lost as to what I should do. After I went out for Indian food with eight white ladies, which is rare to find in Vietnam! Funny fact, I have never had Indian food before having it here is Vietnam. Then I went out for Hot Chocolate with Elissa, observed a Christmas choir practice (I miss my choir so much!), and went out for dinner with three of the ladies who I had eaten lunch with who also sing in the choir. It was fantastic to be able to get to know them all better and make friends for when I come back here!

Yay for new friends! I hope to spend tons more time with these ladies! :D Goodnight all
